When a company uses multiple brands together to introduce a single product or service that is co-branding. Co-branding provides a way for companies to integrate the marketing forces from each of the brands so that they work cooperatively to associate any of the logos, color schemes, or other brand identifiers to a specific product. The objective of co-branding is to combine strengths of multiple brands for business growth.
Co-branding is beneficial if you can generate a significant increase in sales. A lot of those increased sales can flow to the bottom line, if you’re able to bring a customer in more often or appeal to more customers by having two brands under one roof. Co-branding allows you to expand your potential customer base.
