First and foremost, a creative marketer is someone who has the passion and the ability to be artist. This person always can associate images and words to create a campaign. In the same way as a data analyst can decipher data to know what customers want, a creative marketer understands design and branding in a way to know what a customer wants. A creative marketer doesn’t just make things pretty and nice to look at – a lot of research goes into this job. They must look at the competitors of the product that they are designing and promoting to see what already exists, what works and more importantly what has not. A creative marketer is just a piece in the whole marketing puzzle, but without them things like product design, branding and visual advertisements would not exist.
